This is a common misconception but, all saunas are “wet” saunas. When water is added to the hot rocks, you will create löyly (steam). The sauna user will be able to control how much humidity is in the sauna depending on how much Löyly they enjoy. Remember to always ask everyone if they would like more Löyly!
-
Yes, it is encouraged! The finnish word Löyly is defined as the hot evaporating steam that rises from the rocks after carefully pouring water on top of the rocks.
-
Most people tend to stay in the sauna 10-15 minutes and cold plunge 1-3 minutes. Remember the times are not mandatory and you are encouraged to stay in as long as you feel comfortable. A nice rule of thumb is when the idea of a cold plunge sounds like the best idea in the world, get out of the sauna.

Drop off times will be between 3pm and 4pm. We will pick 11am – 12pm. If you have any request for alternate times, please contact us.
